1. What are you writing about?
Simple, right? Start and keep a list of all possible blog topics. Add frequently, and choose thoughtfully. Common topics include current events, industry news, product releases, brand information, disruptions, and regulations.
2. Find Your Brand’s Voice
Define your brand’s voice for your customers and figure out the tone and style you want for your blog. Pretend your brand is a person – what do they sound like?
3. Use Images
Images, graphics, and pull quotes are objects that provide relief to a reader’s eye. No one likes a solid brick wall of text.
4. Read It Out Loud
This is one of the easiest ways to dramatically improve your writing. Anything that sounds awkward, unnatural, or unclear is a chance to rewrite and improve.
